Let's learn a thing or two...
I came across a few very interesting podcasts about craft beer, cocktails, and food. Spilled Milk which is a podcast where the hosts choose a different food item every week and review. Speaking Easy, where the hosts talk about cocktails and spirits. Lastly, Craft Beer Talk which is all about craft beers and home brewing. Cheers!
Spilled Milk - This podcast is all about food. The hosts, Molly and Matthew choose a particular food or drink item each week. I chose to listen to the French Fries podcast. They spoke about all sorts of fries, and the dipping sauces that they enjoy. They also spoke about the bay area and what kind of fries the restaurants serve. I enjoyed this podcast because I love how they choose to focus on one ingredient at a time.
Speaking Easy - This podcast is all about cocktails and spirits. They speak about the best bars around the world, different recipes, and trying to recreate their favorite recipes at home.
Craft Beer Talk -In the podcast, Craft Beer Talk, hosts Chris Grove and Ethan Cox sat down with the president of Niagara Association for Home Brewers (NAH). The guys tasted many beers and reviewed the tasting notes, as well as spoke about many different techniques and methods. The guys also talk about how many home brewers turn their hand crafted beers into full on breweries.
I chose to Subscribe to Draft Magazine. I have been reading this magazine for quite a while and it always has the news on the up and coming beers, brewers, and breweries. I enjoy reading the articles because they teach methods, give interesting facts about beers, and cool recipes.
I also chose to subscribe to Beverage Industry as well. This eNewsletter sends information on food safety, the beverage industry, and up and coming snack foods. I believe that this eNewsletter is good for someone who is trying to step further into the beverage industry just like myself.
I chose to review two top cocktail bars in Portland, OR. My article offers great insight as to what to order at these bars, and what to order. It's great for anyone who has the travel bug like me!
